The new Vilamoura Equestrian Centre will be part of the Winter Tour series organized by GRANDPRIX, a 20-week circuit running from October to April, featuring CSI3*, CSI4*, and even CSI5* competitions. This prestigious tour joins other renowned events such as the Longines Deauville Classic, Chantilly Classic, Le Touquet Classic, and Cabourg Classic, attracting some of the world’s top show jumping athletes.

The return of major international competitions marks the beginning of an exciting new era for both Vilamoura and its new Equestrian Centre, which is set to become a five-star world-class facility.

The centre will feature three new ebb-and-flow sand arenas, each spanning over 6,500 m², and a large grass arena of 14,000 m². In addition, the project’s key upgrades include four training arenas, Europe’s largest indoor free-training arena (over 6,000 m²), and a state-of-the-art veterinary clinic.

Further enhancements include more than 1,000 new permanent stables, three premium accommodation areas with a dedicated VIP lounge, a 3 km horse track, and a 30,000 m² grass training area set within a natural reserve, ensuring a unique experience for all visitors.
